Registration

This site and its content and applications is for the use of certified Information Security Professional ONLY.

Registration is limited, at present, to those holding a CISSP or SSCP certification ONLY.

To register, you must supply your CISSP number, your real name and have some means of proving that you hold this certification. See ProofOfCertification for details.

Before posting, please read the guides to the TWiki markup language and style and the articles on dialogue and discourse on a Wiki. See TWikiFAQ, TWikiUsersGuide, TWikiTutorial and the index of articles at UserDocumentationCategory.

As a final note: This is a community collaboration site. It is not simply a dictionary or technical reference. Information security is a vibrant and growing field. There are many views and opinions and ideas. This site gives CISSPs a chance to share and discuss them.

Submitting the form will :

  • Create a request for an account
  • Send you an activation code by e-mail to address you enter which you should use to verify the request.
  • Upon activation your personal Infosecwiki account will be created, along with a topic using your WikiName as topic name, and your name to will be added the list of users in the TWikiUsers topic in the Infosecwiki.Main web.
  • A request to add you the the CISSP Forum Group will be sent to the site administrator.
    • Until your request to join the CISSP Forum Group is approved your access is limited to the public parts of the Wiki.

To edit pages on this Infosecwiki Collaborative Site, you must have a registered user name and password.

When Infosecwiki receives the form, it will mail an account activation code to the email address you gave above. Enter that activation code in the following screen, or follow the link in the email, to activate your account. Once your account is activated, Infosecwiki will:

  • Finish creating an account for you, so that you can start editing pages using your WikiName.
  • Create your personal Infosecwiki topic using your WikiName as topic name, and add the data you submitted to the topic.
  • Add your name to the list of users in the TWikiUsers topic in the Main web.
  • Send you a confirmation of your registration by email.

Once registered you can login using your LoginName and password.

Please note: Registration does not automatically enter you in any specific group's access list.
